Artist Statement
In 2020 when French environmental protection artist Gilles Cenazandotti, who came to Jardin Orange for a residency project in Shenzhen China, he took the COVID-19 outbreak as the theme, presented his artistic interpretation of plastic recycling, and created seven 1:1 models of endangered animal species with the view to raising public awareness on environmental issues and encouraging deeper reflections on the close-knit bond between mankind,nature and future life.
