Artist Statement
In southeast Manila in the year 2049, Hidalgo, a bio-corporate mercenary soldier, has been hired out to help Delfin, a brilliant mining researcher, make an illegal career move from a fortress built into a mountain mine in Benguet into another facility. The attempt is a disaster, and Hidalgo ends up escaping with the scientist's young daughter, Angela Busilak instead. This leads them into helping destroy the very entities that have displaced thousands of indigenous peoples from their lands.
