Artist Statement: In William Gibson's dystopian novels, his Asian-Pacific visions of the future were constantly bleak and full of uncertainties - with what remains of humanity dependent on hallucinogenatrix and an absence of arborescence. My artwork is an attempt to subvert these inauspicious prognostications of his, using generative, digital engineering to produce a scintillating distillation of a robust, kaleidoscopic, and jubilant 2050, eschewing a pessimistic purview that mirrors the present.

Future vision of Technology

Artist Statement: The disembodied voice of PharmaCoreAsia boomed all over the plaza: "We're designing the first neural implant that will let you control a device anywhere you go. Micron-scale threads are inserted into areas of the brain that control movement. Each thread contains many electrodes and connects them to an implant, the Link. The threads on the Link are so fine and flexible that they can't be inserted by the human hand". Am I daydreaming fifty odd so year from now, or is this happening now?

Artist Statement: Throughout history humanity has faced many obstacles, catastrophes, disease and most of all conflict. Overcoming difficulties, solving complex problems and striving towards a better future is an integral part of what it means to be human. As individuals we all have a duty to explore our inner universe in order to create positive change.Starman' is an ideal but also a possibility of the potential we all have as people-to be happy, healthy and well connected to our environment.

Artist Statement: I am a remnant of the Nahuatlacah oral tradition a tonalpouhque mexica, a commoner from the lowlands (i.e. Mexico) from a time and place that no longer exists. Artist Statement: Indiscriminate food consumption and climate change have made all food resources extinct except some insects. In 2050, insects are served for dinner in high-end restaurants. You should think about what you can do to prevent your birthday dinner from being full of insects.

Artist Statement: Live in the moment…Transforming Wellbeing…Happiness & Health

Artist Statement: Entering a new space of environmentalism, humanity is opening it's eyes to the possibility that we just might not be at the center of everything. This work reflects a future in which we have embraced a symbiosis with the environment, giving more and taking less. A future in which we recognize that our condition is far more reliant on the wellbeing of our environment than we realized. It is a hopeful emergence toward something better.

Artist Statement: My work is rooted in an environmental consciousness that derives from my concern for the Earth's rapidly declining health. I use it to highlight the misuse and abuse that we inflict on the natural world. My forms are influenced by domestic and industrial objects that I experience in my daily life that are indicative of eco-friendly tools and warning symbols. I marry my earthen objects with industrial surplus. The mixed media speaks to the complex relationship that humanity has with nature.

Artist Statement: The work uses the image of red bell pepper and durian as creative elements to visualize it as a little monster with a mouth full of sharp teeth. The work implies that when food becomes no longer safe, it will no longer be called food, and it will definitely pose a threat to human health.

Artist Statement: After this urge storm surge of pandimic, people always think the negative side... But what about the positive side.......? Think of it... Anything happens that God Allows because of its purpose...

Artist Statement: Every year, humans produce 300 million tonnes of plastic waste, including 11 million tonnes that eventually wind up in the ocean. Ninety-nine per cent of plastic is the product of chemicals derived from dirty, non-renewable sources. Most of it never really disappears. Instead, it becomes smaller, with particles being swallowed by fish or farm animals and eventually consumed by humans in their food and tap water.
